Annual Conference for Donor
Relations Professionals
The Council for Advancement and Support for
Education will hold its Annual Conference for Donor
Relations Professionals June 3–5 in San Diego.
According to organizers, great stewardship hap-
pens when your leadership, your development ofcers
and your donor relations team work together. This
conference aims to unite members of these groups to
encourage them to think more creatively, strategically
and collaboratively about how best to steward their
institution’s donors.
The conference agenda is designed for newcomers
to the advancement profession and professionals with
mid- and senior-level responsibility, and will be held in
conjunction with “Donor Relations 101,” a workshop
for newcomers to the advancement profession, and
“Senior Leaders in Donor Relations,” which is geared
toward seasoned donor relations professionals.
According to organizers, attendees will:
Find out how to build or strengthen their donor
relations program.
Learn new ways to engage, steward and cultivate
their organization’s donors.
Take away ideas, samples and new approaches
that are working in well-developed stewardship pro-
grams across the nation.

Center for Nonprot
Management’s 501(c)onference
The Center for Nonprot Management will hold its
8th Annual 501(c)onference June 11 in Los Angeles.
According to organizers, this conference brings
together nearly 400 nonprot, philanthropic and
civic leaders annually to share knowledge and con-
nect with others. This year, as organizations navigate
a variety of challenges, the conference will focus on
common ground and shared values, while embracing
the chaos of these current times as an opportunity
for creative solutions and better results. Keynote and
breakout speakers—leaders in their eld—will share
tactical tools and examples that will help attendees
become catalysts for change and growth within their

Points of Light Conference
on Volunteering and Service
Points of Light will hold its annual Conference on
Volunteering and Service June 18–20 in St. Paul, Minn.
According to organizers, the conference is the
world’s largest service-related convening, bringing
together more than 2,500 nonprot, government,
business and civic leaders to gain and share the knowl-
edge, resources and connections needed to galvanize
the power of people to create change globally.
The conference provides the opportunity for thou-
sands to come together to collaborate and ensure the
volunteer sector continues to grow.
Co-hosted with HandsOn Twin Cities, a Points of
Light Network afliate, the 2019 conference is designed
to offer more opportunities for networking and explor-
ing the Twin Cities and its history of volunteerism.
