Policy Summit
The Council on Foundations will hold its 2018
Public Policy Summit April 11–13 in Philadelphia�
According to organizers, the Public Policy Sum-
mit promises to engage foundation leaders, policy
experts, media representatives and current and retired
members of Congress and other elected ofcials in
important conversations around the most-pressing
policy issues of the day�
Attendees will have the opportunity to exchange
ideas and inuence the positive impact philanthropy
has on communities across the country and world�
They will be able to connect with colleagues and
policy experts on ways to unleash philanthropy’s po-
litical capital to further their own charitable mission
and inuence policymaking around shared interests

and federal levels, from issue-specic policy to broad-
scale advocacy strategy

2018 Nonprot Technology
Conference
The 2018 Nonprofit Technology Conference,
produced by NTEN: The Nonprofit Technology
Network, will be held April 11–13 in New Orleans
According to organizers, this event is where non-
prot professionals gather together from around the
world in a vibrant, supportive community and a safe

Conference on Diverse

The Council for Advancement & Support of Edu-
cation will host its Conference on Diverse Philanthro-
py and Leadership April 12–13 in Washington, D�C�
According to organizers, this conference concen-
trates on emerging philanthropic markets in advance-
ment, while exploring minority wealth, philanthropic
behaviors and diverse engagement strategies� The
program also features sessions on enhancing manage-
ment and leadership skills for advancement profes-
sionals of diverse backgrounds� The conference is
presented in collaboration with the African American
Development Ofcers Network�
