City of Cayce water project wins award.

The city of Cayce has won a public works achievement award from the Municipal Association of South Carolina in recognition of its waterline replacement project.

The project replaced 262,000 linear feet of water lines, meters and hydrants, along with a 1 million-gallon water tank, according to a news release from the city. The $29 million project, begun in October 2017 and finished in December 2018, represents 75% of the city's water infrastructure.
