Charityhowto.com webinar
explores peer-to-peer fundraising
Nonprot resources website Charityhowto.com
will host a webinar titled “How to Maximize Your
Peer-to-Peer and Community Fundraising” on July
1 and July 8 at 3:00 PM ET.
According to organizers, peer-to-peer fundrais-
ing—also known as person-to-person or commu-
nity fundraising—is a great way to tap into your
existing and potential networks, online and ofine,
to increase awareness and encourage fundraising for
your nonprot.
But while communities can be vast and social
networks can be extensive, many fundraisers and
nonprot staffers don’t know where to begin. This
webinar will explore effective and free ways that peer-
to-peer fundraisers are making the most of their time
and resources to nd and keep the supporters who
will make the biggest impact.
The webinar, led by fundraising consultants Simon
Scriver and Nikki Bell, will explore the best methods
of looking for, engaging and working with fundraisers
out in the community. More specically, participants
will learn:
• how to develop a peer-to-peer fundraising plan,
• how to identify and engage companies and
organizations,
• how to identify and engage individuals in the
community and
• how to improve your interpersonal skills to at-
tract fundraisers and volunteers.
Registration fees for this event are $87.

Webinar offers tips
on securing corporate support
Candid will host a webinar titled “Perfect Your
Corporate Partner Prospecting Strategy” on July 23
at 2:00 PM ET.
According to organizers, the webinar—hosted
on the organization’s Grantspace.org platform—is
timely since corporate giving and volunteering have
been on the rise in recent years, as has competition
for corporate grants and other resources. As cor-
porate social responsibility programs become more
strategic, nonprots that craft customized partner-
ship strategies are the most successful in securing
corporate funding.
Especially in light of the changes and challenges
that COVID-19 has wrought upon the charitable
sector, nonprots looking for corporate funding as
a revenue stream have to be more focused and stra-
tegic than ever in their approach. This webinar, led
by Loree Lipstein and Tracy Shaw of fundraising
consultancy Thread Strategies, will cover how to
prospect companies for partnership, build corpo-
rate relationships and design and pitch customized
partnerships that meet the needs and interests of
all parties.
Registration fees for this event are $25.
