§60.1INTRODUCTION

CR 60 is generally used to vacate a default judgment or other final judgment or order because of an irregularity in securing the judgment or order. The rule sets forth various grounds for relief and the procedures that a party must follow. Although CR 60 governs default judgments, it does not address orders of default. CR 55 provides the procedure to set aside orders of default, but references the grounds stated in CR 60(b).
