§42.1INTRODUCTION

This chapter discusses the scope of CR 42 and the few established limits on the trial court's discretion to consolidate or separate entire cases or parts of cases for trial. It also discusses instances in which a party may persuade a trial court to grant or deny a motion to consolidate two or more pending lawsuits or to separate claims or issues for trial.
