§ 42.17 • CONVERSATIONS WITH DECEASED PARTNER

This is not a part of the dead man's statute but is related to it. This statute provides that testimony with regard to a conversation with, or an admission by, a deceased partner or joint contractor shall not be given by an adverse party unless one or more of the surviving partners or joint contractors also was present.¹²³
