§ 20.10 • APPELLATE ARBITRATION

Parties can agree to have their appeals from an award be to an "appellate" arbitrator.¹⁴³ However, the effect of such appellate arbitration upon appeals to the district court and thereafter to the appellate court is unclear.¹⁴⁴ The AAA has a set of rules specifically for appellate arbitration.
