§14.3HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT

The Washington Supreme Court adopted CR 14 on May 5, 1967, effective July 1, 1967. See Eberle v. Sutor, 3 Wn.App. 387, 389-90, 475 P.2d 564 (1970) (comparing CR 14 with its procedural predecessor, the "impleader").
