CEO compensation by region of the country

Below you will find nonprofit executive pay and other

compensation data listed by the region of the country in

which the administrator works. These data come from Board

& Administrator’s 2016 Survey of Nonprofit Executive Com-

pensation, conducted late last year.

In the West North Central and East North Central regions,

where we received higher responses, participants reported

average salaries of $112,382 and $109,099, respectively.

It is important to note that, due to response rates, some

regions of the country are underrepresented in compari-

son to other regions. Keep this in mind when making your

comparisons. ■
