Candidates for Milwaukee County bench to face off.

The Milwaukee Bar Association isholding a forum next week for the two candidates running for Milwaukee County Circuit Court Branch 40, the seat once held by Justice Rebecca Dallet.

Judge Andrew Jones and Danielle Shelton, a public defender, are scheduled to face each other from noon to 1 p.m. on March 21 at the Milwaukee Bar Association, 747 N. Broadway.

Dave Umhoefer, director of the O'Brien Fellowship in Public Service at Marquette University, will be the moderator.Those who attend will also be able to ask the candidates questions.

The event is free and open to the general public. It will also be streamed live on the MBA's Facebook page.
