Benjamin to hold block party for U.S. mayors.

Nearly 60 mayors from across the country, including the civic leaders of Atlanta, Boston, Miami and Houston, are expected to attend a block party in Columbia on Sept. 28.

Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin, president of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, will host the event in conjunction with the organization's fall leadership meeting.
