Adecade ago, ABI published The Guide to Bankruptcy Mediation, authored by Jacob Aaron Esher and now-retired U.S. Bankruptcy Judges Lisa Hill Fenning and Erwin I. Katz. The growth of mediation in the past decade led ABI to form its Mediation Committee, whose leaders and members have contributed significantly to the growth and accessibility of bankruptcy mediation. Activities have included publication of the Model Rules, numerous educational sessions at ABI conferences, timely newsletters, teaching at the esteemed ABI/St. John's 40-Hour Bankruptcy Mediation Training Program and other initiatives.
