In his October letter responding to my article, "Logic and the Law: When Their Paths Diverge" (July/ August), Mark Warda suggests the article "presents some good reasons why we should be ashamed of our legal profession," apparently in reference to the various legal technicalities reviewed in the article. The letter goes on to suggest in the place of rules and procedures, that counsel should simply be mandated to "do justice."
