Aquarium company establishes operations center at MTC.

France-based company Aquarium Partners is installing its United States operational center at Midlands Technical College Enterprise Campus.

According to a news release from MTC, the 4,000-square-foot business accelerator at the Enterprise Campus gives Aquarium Partners operating space while providing educational and business opportunities for students and faculty.

The MTC Enterprise Campus is adjacent to interstates 77 and 20 in Northeast Columbia and offers office, commercial and industrial space ranging from five to 40 acres.

Aquarium Partners specializes in the marketing and distribution of aquarium products worldwide. The company's CEO, Francois Nollet, said the MTC location will help Aquarium Partners receive shipments of products from European manufacturers and distribute them throughout the U.S. It also will be home to the company's U.S. sales team.

Many of the companies Aquarium Partners represent use ecologically sound products and organic materials, he said.
