The AFA 2018 Annual Meeting will be held January 5–7, 2018

(Friday, Saturday & Sunday) in Philadelphia, PA: ASSA Headquarters

will be the Philadelphia Marriott and the AFA hotel will be the Loews Philadel-

phia Hotel. Registration and Housing information will be available on the

AEA website in mid-August and other meeting information is available now

at https://www.aeaweb.org/conference/. Attendees must go through the official

housing company to get the convention rates.

AFA Financial and Board Meeting Summaries: The AFA Board of Direc-

tors has voted to publish a Board Meeting Summary to increase transparency

of AFA governance and decisions made by the Board. Recent Board Meeting

Summaries as well as AFA Financial Statements are posted on the AFA website

(www.afajof.org). We hope that this additional communication is informative

and we welcome your feedback.

AFA Annual Meeting Programs: AFA Annual Meeting Programs since 1950

are included in the set of all ASSA Programs available at the American Eco-

nomics Association website (http://www.aeaweb.org/Annual Meeting/assa pro-

grams/). Digitizing of the older programs was a joint effort of the AFA and the

AEA.
