We have so many folks to thank for helping us bring this project to fruition. Let's begin by acknowledging that this book is a complete revision and expansion of a fusion of two articles that we had the honor of publishing with the American Bankruptcy Law Journal and the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. Much water has passed since the publication of those articles, necessitating a thorough revisiting of the subject matter. Thanks to both the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges and the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI)/St. John's University for running our prior articles.1

We have been privileged that a number of readers provided us with comments and suggestions about the subject matter. These comments, suggestions and questions have increased in pace as the materials in the original articles became dated. We hope that this book brings forward our prior work, building on cases, articles and comments addressing Daubert in the bankruptcy setting.
