§ 64.01 INTRODUCTION

The entry of a final decree of dissolution by the court often does not resolve all of the issues in a case. For example, questions may arise concerning the meaning of the decree, or the parties may realize that a provision was omitted from the decree. One party may wish to set aside the decree in its entirety, or a change of circumstances may create a desire or perceived need to revise the prior decree. Depending upon the nature of the disagreement over the terms of the decree, a party may need to bring an action to clarify or interpret, vacate, or modify the prior decree.
