The Ohio Society continues to commemorate its Centennial anniversary by paying tribute to members whose contributions have shaped the profession in Ohio. The following members have been named "Ohio's Most Influential CPAs" by a member-led selection committee in recognition of their significant, positive influence on the growth, development and evolution of The Ohio Society of CPAs and the CPA profession.

JANICE L. CULVER, CPA

KEYCORP

Jan is senior vice president and national director of Wealth Advisory Services for Key Private Bank in Cleveland. Previously, she was Key Bank regional trust executive for Western Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Florida.

Jan serves as an elected member of AICPA's Governing Council and is on the AICPA Strategic Planning Committee. She has held numerous leadership roles for the Society, including serving as chair of the Executive Board, the Strategic Planning Committee and the Nominating Committee. Most recently active in the Centennial Campaign to benefit The Ohio CPA Foundation, Jan worked to help the Foundation reach its $1.5 million goal serving as a member of the Centennial Campaign General Appeal Committee and the Centennial Campaign Steering Committee. She also served as president of the former Dayton Chapter.

Formerly a Dayton resident, Jan is a sustainer in the Junior League of Dayton, past chair of the Trustees of Culture Works, and past president of the boards of the YWCA of Dayton and the Montgomery County Historical Society. She has served as a trustee of the Friends of the Dayton Ballet, the Human Race Theatre Company and the Alliance for Education. Dayton Daily News named her one of Dayton's "Ten Top Women." In Cleveland, she has become active on the boards of the Community Partnership for Arts and Culture and the Alzheimer's Association.

PLANTE AND MORAN

Mike is senior manager in the Security Assurance Group at Plante and Moran in Columbus, and president and CEO of Business Technology Group, a company he founded to help CPAs minimize risk and maximize ROI in their technology investments. He co-founded Systegrity Group, Inc., a company that creates and markets CPE and risk assessment diagnostics under the registered trade name IdentiR1SK[R].
