The University of Alaska Anchorage launched its first ever startup company, Zensor. The company was established in February 2013 by University of Alaska Anchorage Vice Provost for Research and Graduate Studies Dr. Helena Wisniewski and faculty inventor Dr. John Lund, a University of Alaska Anchorage electrical engineering professor.
