Wyoming Court Fees Increase July 1st
The Wyoming Supreme Court issued several orders implementing court fee hikes that were approved during the Legislature’s budget session. Effective July 1, 2020, court fees will increase as follows:
Wyoming Supreme Court Docketing Fee
The docketing fee for the Supreme Court will increase from $110 to $140, $55 of which will go to judicial systems automation and $10 to indigent civil legal services.
Wyoming District Court Docketing and Appellate Fees
The appellate fee for all transcripts and records in cases appealed or certified to the Supreme Court will increase from $85 to $100, $40 of which will go to court automation and $10 to indigent civil legal services. For docketing a petition for review from an administrative agency, the fee will increase from $110 to $120, $40 of which go to court automation and $10 to indigent civil legal services. For docketing an appeal from the circuit court or municipal court, the fee will increase from $85 to $100, $40 of which will go to court automation and $10 to indigent civil legal services.
Wyoming Circuit Court Fees in Criminal Actions
In criminal/traffic cases in which a conviction results, the fee will increase from $35 to $50, $40 of which will go to judicial systems automation and $10 to indigent civil legal services. The assessment for costs will remain at $20.
Wyoming Municipal Courts Fees
The court automation fee a city or town may impose will increase from $25 to $40.
