Wyoming State Bar Receives Another Clean Audit Report

For many years, the Wyoming State Bar has undergone an annual audit by a certified public accounting firm. The Bar is pleased to announce the issuance of another clean (i.e., unmodified) auditor’s opinion regarding its finances. Did You Know…?

The Wyoming State Bar sponsored 267 FREE/low-cost CLE programs in 2019! These programs offered 348.75 general CLE credits and 214.25 ethics credits. Members who are interested in learning about the upcoming programs can either check the Bar’s website at www.wyomingbar.org or subscribe to the CLE listserve. To subscribe to the CLE listserve, simply send an e-mail to join@lists.wyomingbar.org and put “Wyoming State Bar Sponsored CLE” in the subject line. The Bar is proud of this great member benefit and work is underway for many more programs in 2020!

NEW CLE Rules - Effective January 1st

The Wyoming Supreme Court approved proposed amendments to the Rules of the Board of Continuing Legal Education and those new rules went into effect January 1, 2020. The most significant change is the increase from six self-study hours per calendar year to eight. Previously, all CLE programs required accompanying written materials.
