This issue marks one year that my team and I have been with Utah Business, and one of the initiatives we've worked hardest on is equal representation.

I don't want to get into why this is important to us--we all know why. I only want to say that it's working. Interviewing this year's 30 Women To Watch was beyond inspiring, even our photographer, Justin Hackworth, couldn't get enough of what they had to say.

Some of these women are fighting for radical social justice, like Liz Owens, the executive director at the Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault. Others see an opportunity to improve generational wellbeing, like Melanie DeLynne Davis, the owner and clinical therapist at Empath Healing & Wellness.

And then we have Sara Jones, whose keynote speech at our event will be the first time she'll speak publically about her adoption...
