PositionBamboo Capture Pen & Touch Tablet - What's New? - Brief article

Editing photos just got a lot easier. Instead of using a mouse to navigate Photoshop, we switched to the Bamboo Capture Pen & Touch Tablet ($99) from Wacom, Vancouver, Wash. Ordinary digital photographs can become extraordinary as we are able to restore old photos, remove unwanted details, improve skin tones, and create new compositions.

Bamboo Capture comes with Adobe Photoshop Elements and Autodesk SketchBook Express, so we have all the editing tools necessary to transform our photos. The slim Capture tablet--active area 5.8" x 3.6"--sets up next to the computer, and it wasn't long before we got used to looking at the monitor and not at what our hand was doing. Using the pressure-sensitive pen instead of the mouse gave us much more accuracy. Multitouch gestures are used to scroll, zoom, rotate, or flip through photos and documents. Handwritten notes, sketches, or doodles can be added.
