If you believe everything you read or hear, Y2K is a Label for the potential Pandora's Box of problems -- real, perceived or prophesied -- awaiting us this New Year. Not to listen to Colorado's female leadership, it isn't. Perhaps these upbeat resolutions for 2000 will give heart to the beaten-up:

* Debbie Kovalik executive director of the Visitor and Convention Bureau of Grand junction is determined to "drag this community kicking and screaming into technology in 2000.
