XI. DISMISSAL OF THE APPEAL
If the appellant fails to seek or obtain a stay pending the appeal or a motion for stay is denied, then the appellee is free to enforce the judgment or act upon the order of the bankruptcy court while the appeal is pending. Such enforcement or action may moot the appeal, and the appellee may move the district court or bankruptcy appellate panel to dismiss the appeal for mootness.
