The NBER's Working Group on the Chinese Economy met in Cambridge on September 30 and October 1 and 2, 2011. ShangJin Wei of Columbia University, who directs the group, organized the conference with Hanming Fang, University of Pennsylvania and NBER. These papers were discussed:
