What do workers want from their employers this summer? In a survey from the staffing firm Accountemps, Menlo Park, Calif., employees indicate the best summer perks their companies could provide are flexible schedules (52%) and early Friday departures (27%).

However, which perks are employers actually offering? Fifty-four percent of senior managers say flexible schedules; 32%, allow staff to leave early on Fridays.

Other common warm-weather benefits cited by companies are relaxed dress codes (53%) and activities such as picnics or potlucks (48%), but these are the least likely to win over employees, according to the survey.
