Dear NDIA Members:

As this year's Mega Directory arrives at your mailbox, I am pleased to report that NDIA is enjoying another successful year. This success is largely attributable to the member volunteers from industry and government who generously expend considerable time and talent to serve within our divisions, industrial committees, chapters and affiliates. Without your support and energy there would be no NDIA. "Thank You". for your contributions to the mission of NDIA and for your steadfast support and valuable contributions to national security.

Two thousand and six has been an exceptionally productive year within NDIA Divisions--and a year of substantial change in their leadership. Industry members assuming chairmanship of NDIA divisions over the past year include: John Riegel (Riegel Consulting)--Ballistics Division: Brig. Gen (Ret.) Dean Ertwine (Battelle)--Chemical-Biological Defense Division; Lt. Gen. (Ret.) John Caldwell (QSS Group, Inc.) --Combat Vehicles Division; Rear Adm. (Ret.) Steven Smith (ViaGlobal Group, LLC)--Expeditionary Warfare Division; Vice Adm. (Ret.) Gordon Holder (Booz Allen Hamilton)- Logistics Division; Mark Huston (National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining)--Manufacturing Division; Dean Battles (General Dynamics)--Industrial Committee of Ammunition Producers; James McCullough (Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson)--Procurement Division; Lt. Gen. (Ret) Dave Vesely (SAIC)--Space Division; Gary Tull (AM General)--Tactical Wheeled Vehicle Division: Lawrence Graviss (Jacobs Sverdrup Engineering)--Industrial Committee on Test and Evaluation: Milo Hyde (EDO Corporation)--Undersea Warfare Division, and Joseph Dyer (iRobot)--Robotics Division I want to publicly thank each of the retiring chairmen for their long and valuable service to NDIA goals and objectives and pledge my personal support to each of the new division/industrial committee chairmen.

Internally, Luellen Hoffman has assumed the position of exhibit director responsible for supporting NDIA's portfolio of exhibitions.
