Five distinguished women financial executives discussed career moves and defining moments at FEI's first Women's Forum, "Managing Your Executive Career," held at The Fairmont in San Francisco following the Treasurers Conference. Thirty-five women FEI members and prospective members attended the dinner and discussion.

Speakers included Lydia Beebe, Corporate Secretary, Chevron Corp.; Noreen Culhane, Senior Vice President, New York Stock Exchange; Catherine R. Kinney, Group Executive Vice President, New York Stock Exchange, Margaret V. Mulley, National Director, Emerging Strategic Clients, Deloitte & Touche LLP; and Paige Steinboch, Principal, Korn/Ferry International.

Each of the women was asked to briefly discuss her career path and describe a defining moment. For Noreen Culhane -- who said for most of her career she didn't have a game plan -- it was an offer four years ago from the New York Stock Exchange to leave her management position with IBM.
