Members of the newest chapter of Women In Defense, an affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association, recently held a luncheon in Lexington Park, Md.

Established in late 2002, the chapter serves more than 60 WID members in southern Maryland, concentrated near the Naval Air Station at Patuxent River.

Cindy Broyles, of Booz Allen Hamilton, is the chapter's president. Broyles was named Booz Allen Hamilton Woman of the Year, in part for her role in helping to establish the chapter. Other chapter officers include Rosemarie Benjes, of NAVAIR Patuxent River, and Renee Lacey, of SAIC.
