From March 13 to 16, U.S. veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan testified about human rights abuses committed in these occupations. In 1971, a group of veterans exposed human rights abuses of the Vietnam War in an event called Winter Soldier. (See our cover story on page 26.)
