I recently received one of the best issues of Americas magazine! The combination of historical black-and-white photographs with the vivid color ones was stunning. The entire issue was well thought out and put together. The article on the Cangaceiros of Brazil seems to stand out the most. I also enjoyed the anteater story, as I do all the animal pieces that appear in the magazine.

I came across my first copy of Americas in a truck-stop bookstore over 15 years ago and have been enjoying it ever since. Then, I was transporting produce across the country in an eighteen-wheeler. I have since retired and see most of the world...
