Winchester Repeating Arms
For 2011, Winchester offers two new Model 94 rifles. The Sporter Model 94 is offered in .30-30 Win. and ,38-55 Win., and features a 24" half-round, half-octagon blued barrel, straight grip stock with a crescent butt and blued steel buttplate, and satin oil finish. The Short Rifle Model 94 is available in .30-30 Win., and features a 20" deeply blued round barrel and straight grip walnut stock with a rifle-style forend, black grip cap, full-length magazine, traditional sights with a semi-buckhorn rear and Marble Arms gold bead at the muzzle.
Two historical Winchester lever actions are offered for 2011. The Model 1886 Short Rifle features a deeply blued receiver, 24" barrel and lever, and matching blued steel end cap and steel crescent buttplate. Straight grip Grade I walnut stock has a satin finish, and full-length tubular steel magazine holds six .45-70 Govt. cartridges. The Model 1892 Carbine features a 20" round, deeply blued and polished barrel, receiver and lever, with a full-length tubular magazine and solid walnut stock in a straight grip style. Offered in .45 Colt, .44-40 Win., .44 Rem. Mag. and .357 Mag.
New in the Model 70 lineup is the new Featherweight Compact model, designed for smaller-framed shooters.
