THERE IS A STRANGE kind of doom precipitating this letter. The news is predictably spiraling as I write it, lending a dark twinge to the beginning of summer and a foreboding sense that perhaps the Great Depression to our Roaring 20s might be coming for us sooner than we thought.

This fear was, of course, incited by a dip in the stock market as well as the crypto stablecoin TerraUSD. I'm not given to panic due to the whims of the market (and am firmly asset-based myself), but I think we all know how this bull market will end. It's worth considering our course, whether one month or ten years from now.
