Alaska Wild partners with Anchorage Indoor Flag Football.

Alaska Wild has secured a partnership with the Anchorage Indoor Flag Football League (AIFFL), a recreational five-on-five noncontact league played at the Cellular One Sports Center in Anchorage.

The Alaska Wild, Alaska's first and only professional football team, will use the AIFFL to scout and develop local players interested in elevating to a professional level.

David Weatherholt, president of Alaska Professional Sports Inc., owner of the Alaska Wild, said the AIFFL consists of 12 teams, including two teams comprised of military personnel stationed at Fort Richardson and Elmendorf Air Force Base.
