I love wigs and am a huge advocate for loving the skin you are in. Wigs are a huge confidence booster that can tailor exactly to how a woman wants to represent herself. I grew up with all of the women in my family wearing wigs and, once I started to for myself, the feeling of empowerment that I got once I was able to control my style and look was extremely rewarding. To me, it makes no sense for a woman to let a day go by where she is bored with her hair color, upset with how a haircut turned out, or is simply just feeling "blah" with herself. Imagine waking up every day having the power to customize your hair exactly to how you want it to look? Welcome to my world. Faux hair gives you control over your hair and appearance, and is becoming a great new accessory for women.

I can remember being a little girl and hearing all the commotion in my house from my mom, aunts, and grandmother when picking out their wigs for the day. It was such a good time for them and was a major part of their everyday beauty routine. Ever since then I have watched the women in my household glow with confidence because they would customize their look day-by-day through the use of faux hair. My grandmother had a wig that she would pick out and wear perfectly with specific hats. My mother had an Angela Davis "power to the people" wig. Watching these iconic women in my life pair their hair lengths, styles, and colors with particular hats, outfits, and personalities was exciting. Getting ready to go out was like an event in and of itself. Wigs are the perfect way for the inner diva in all women to come out and get creative.
