CONSUMERS WHO HAVE SMARTPHONES are more likely to have high technological expectations of their banks, according to a recent international survey from the payments processor First Data.

Seventy-six percent of U.S. consumers expect to be able to access their financial accounts in real time, according to the survey. More than half of consumers in 10 countries want to be able to move between their computer and smartphone to access their account information.
