WID Participates in NDIA/USO Golf Outing.

WID would like to congratulate NDIA on its very successful "2000 USO Golf Outing." More than 200 golfers participated, and helped to raise funds for the USO. As a partner with NDIA, WID sent representatives to monthly planning meetings and helped stuff "goody" bags before the event.

WID contributed cup holders, golf bag tags, and a gift certificate for the event, which was held at Andrews Air Force Base. On the day of the event, we handed out "goody" bags and provided information to the golfers.

A WID representative was seated at the seventh hole, as a "prize witness" during the day. Had any golfer on that hole made a "hole in one," he or she would have won a two-year lease on a Cadillac Catera. Unfortunately, no one did. So if you play golf and want to have a lot of fun, please plan to participate (by being a member of a WID foursome) in this event next year.
