WID Central Florida Chapter Celebrates 10th Anniversary.

Last year, Women In Defense's Central Florida chapter celebrated the 10th anniversary of its establishment. WID CFL marked the significant milestone by hosting a panel event highlighting "A Decade of Butterfly Effects," reflecting on how individuals and small teams make significant impacts on national security and defense at local, state and federal levels.

Florida House Rep. Anna V. Eskamani, D-Orlando, moderated a leadership panel featuring retired Air Force Gen. Hawk Carlisle, the president and CEO of NDIA; retired Air Force Gen. Lori Robinson, former commander of U.S. Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command; and Lisa Sanders, the director of science and technology for U.S. Special Operations Command.
