WID Board Fine-tunes Manual for Chapters.

AuthorSmith, Judy L.

The WID Board of Directors is in the process of formally creating a Chapter Manual that will include the following key topics: administration, activities, formation checklist, by-laws and financial reporting. We will incorporate the lessons learned from our existing WID regional groups and establish guidance that we hope will contribute to addressing the needs of our membership.

To date, we have the following geographical WID groups: Tampa, Fla.; Dayton, Ohio, and New England. Other regions that have expressed interest include: Iowa/Illinois; Lexington Park, Md.; San Diego, and Hampton Roads, Va. (and surrounding areas to include Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton, and Norfolk).

Our goal is to have the Chapter Manual completed and approved by January 15, 2001.
