Clothes beat electronics as the number-one holiday gift for adults; parents know what their kids want this Christmas; and men admit to wishing for spa days as a gift. This is according to a survey by Ebates, a provider of cash-back online shopping.

Clothing is the desired gift this holiday, followed by a vacation. Rounding out the top 10, at least for adults, are a laptop, tablet, smartphone, jewelry, homemade present, spa day, tickets to a sporting event, and the latest E-reader.

When it comes to the top gift choices, answers vary by gender: more women want clothes versus men (38% to 28%); more men want tickets to a sporting event (18% to nine percent); and more women want E-readers like the Kindle or Nook (10% versus five percent). Five percent of men say they would like a spa day (versus 26% of women).

While parents may not rate electronics among their top gift choices, they certainly are in tune with what their kids want for a holiday...
