Bill O'Reilly is still angry! In The O'Reilly Factor: The Good, The Bad, and The Completely Ridiculous in American Life, his first book, the author's anger motivated an expose about inconsistencies and absurdities in the political, social, and cultural atmosphere of America. He named unethical individuals and organizations and defined the good in some aspects of American life. In The No Spin Zone: Confrontations with the Powerful and Famous in America, his anger mounted as conditions went from bad to worse in politics, Hollywood, and throughout every social strata. He wrote the book to expose, without the spin, what really was on the minds of some of the most famous guests on his TV program.

In Who's Looking Out for You?, O'Reilly directs his invective against the many unscrupulous people deliberately taking advantage of the American public. He finds very few individuals actively dedicated to safeguarding your welfare. Asked why he is se mad, he replies that "corruption, unfairness, incompetence, obsequiousness, and exploitation" always have disturbed him; furthermore, he challenges all journalists to be upset because they are in a position to expose corruption and deceit. O'Reilly zeros in on powerful, unethical authorities totally unconcerned about the common man; he states his case, presents the facts, and names names.

O'Reilly exposes corruption in the Federal government, which he contends is designed not to aid the individual. Foremost is the fact that no one keeps track of how the government spends money. He specifically criticizes politicians who waste capital on pet projects and use tax dollars to buy votes. He attacks the Immigration and Naturalization Service for its failure to secure U.S. borders, thus allowing 10,000,000 illegal aliens--including three of the 9/11 hijackers--to move freely about the country.
