For 20 years, Deborah Bayle Nielsen strived to make Salt Lake a better community through her work at the Salt Lake Chamber. Since leaving the chamber, she has continued to promote a better community--but now she's focused less on economics, and more on the societal bottom line. "I loved my work at the chamber, and when I left, I took away a passion for the community." That passion continues, as Nielsen serves as head of the United Way of Salt Lake, which works with 48 of Utah's major charitable organizations.
