With the unemployment rate for persons with a disability continuing to be almost double the rate for the nondisabled, the personal finance website WalletHub conducted an analysis of 2016's Best and Worst Cities for Americans with Disabilities. In order to ease the process of finding the best place to live while managing a disability, WalletHub compared the 150 most-populated U.S. cities across 21 key metrics, ranging from the number of physicians per capita to the rate of employed people with disabilities.

The best cities, starting at the top, are Overland Park, Kan.; Scottsdale, Ariz.; Peoria, Ariz.; Tampa, Fla.; St. Petersburg, Fla.; Huntington Beach, Calif.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Gilbert, Ariz.; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Santa Clarita, Calif.

The worst cities, from the bottom up, are Providence, R.I.; Jersey City, N.J.; San Bernardino, Calif.; Moreno Valley, Calif.; Worcester, Mass.; Stockton, Calif.; Winston-Salem, N.C.; Newark, N.J.; Birmingham, Ala.; and Rochester, N.Y.
