When folks in and around Wilmington joined forces for a new marketing campaign, they rallied around one name: Cape Fear. It's a familiar term 90 miles upriver in Fayetteville, home of the Museum of the Cape Fear and Cape Fear Valley Health System. "Choose Cape Fear" launched on the eve of last month's Wells Fargo Championship to promote Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover and Pender counties. "It was a really good stage for us to tell the world who we are as a region," says Wilmington's Natalie English. What say you, Cumberland County?
