WesBanco expands Ohio reach.

Western Ohio Financial Corp. (WesBanco) shareholders voted to accept the terms of its acquisition agreement, allowing the Wheeling, WV-based banking company to continue its expansion across Ohio.

With state headquarters in Springfield, Ohio, WesBanco operates eight branches in Clark, Greene, and Montgomery counties under the name Cornerstone Bank. The additions will increase WesBanco's operations to include eight branches throughout Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania with assets reaching $4 billion.
