Welcome to the new CPA Letter.

With this issue we proudly unveil the new, digitally based CPA Letter, including a new Web site and functions. We heard your feedback and have responded to your information wants and needs. Our survey this past spring revealed 80% of you supported on online publication so you could get more timely information, links to additional resources and updated articles.

Our new landing page features the current issue, areas for breaking news and brief announcements, links to the member-segment supplements, links to other areas of the AICPA's Web site and a comprehensive list of links to frequently accessed non-AICPA Web sites. Member disciplinary actions and open meetings of standard-setting committees now can be found under AICPA Links.

Members also have told the AICPA that they wanted daily news, information and highlights on a range of key topics affecting the accounting profession. As a result, in Sept. the AICPA launched a free e-newsletter, CPA Letter Daily, available on an opt-in basis.
