Last June, members ushered in bylaw changes that have transformed CalCPA's governance structure.
Beginning this month, the CalCPA Board of Directors will be known as CalCPA Council. The size of this representative governing body has changed: formerly made up of 121 members, the new council has approximately 100 voting members.
The number of chapter representatives serving on the council has been reduced from 79 to 50. The Governance Task Force recommended the change to increase efficiency and facilitate more equal representation from all chapters. The council's duties will focus...
