Just as kids never seem to tire of a favorite book, video, CD, or tape, reading or playing them over and over and over again, so it is with jigsaw puzzles. When it comes to the latter, there's no better place to turn than the Nova Design Group, West Hurley, N.Y. This innovative company has added to its already impressive array of puzzles and games with a whole new lineup. First up are the Tumble Floor Puzzles ($15 each), 48-piece sets that create high-resolution 2' x 3' images. The durable and chunky pieces are perfect for even the smallest hands. Moreover, the secrets, riddles, and hidden treasures found in the Tropical Fish Tumble, Bug Tumble, and Butterfly Tumble will provide hours of fun for youngsters.

Probably the only thing better than a jigsaw puzzle--at least as far as kids are concerned--is a magnetic one. Nova has three new winners in this category: the Magnetic Space Puzzle, Magnetic Wheels at Work Puzzle, and Magnetic Animal Puzzle ($17.50 apiece). Perfect for travel or assembling on the refrigerator, each includes 15 magnets, a 12" x 12" puzzle board, and a 19" x 27" poster. The Wheels to Work edition is especially clever. There's a magnetic piece for each letter of the alphabet, from Ambulance to Zamboni. Meanwhile, Mini Magnetic Puzzles ($5 each) are nine-piece editions that include Puppy, Kitty, and Diggers `n' Dumpers versions.
